Tokyo Disney

The Tokyo Disney Resort is a theme park and vacation resort owned by the Oriental Land Company with a license from Walt Disney Company located in Urayasu, Japan just outside of Tokyo. Originally just Tokyo Disneyland, the theme park opened on April 15, 1983. Tokyo Disney was the first Disney resort opened outside of the United States.

Tokyo Disney has three main entertainment sections: the original Tokyo Disneyland park; the Tokyo Disney Sea theme park; and Ikspiari, which is a variation of the Disney Village found at other Disney resorts.

Like all other modern Disney resorts, Tokyo Disney has numerous adjacent hotels in its resort complex; most are located in a specific hotel area but two hotels are located outside the main hotel complex: Hotel MiraCosta (at Tokyo DisneySea) and the Disney Ambassador Hotel.
