Kerplunk is the punk rock band Green Day's second album. Kerplunk was recorded in May and September of 1991 at the Art of Ears studio in San Francisco. It was released on January 17, 1992, under the Lookout Records label.

Personnel

Kerplunk was produced, engineered, and mixed by Andy Ernst and
Green Day. It was mastered by John Golden at K-disc in Hollywood. Al Sobrante, former drummer for the band, was the executive producer on the album.

Tracks 13 to 16 were originally featured on SKENE! Records No. 10, 7" EP and featured Al Sobrante on drums.

All lyrics were written by frontman Billie Joe Armstrong, except for Track 6, Dominated Love Slave, written by Tré Cool and Track 16 which was originally written by the rock band, The Who.
