American Eagle Airlines


 
American Eagle is a commuter subsidiary of American Airlines.

It operates out of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport which is located between Dallas, Texas and Fort Worth, Texas, Chicago, Illinois's O' Hare International Airport, Los Angeles, California's Los Angeles International Airport, Jamaica, New York's John Fitzgerald Kennedy International Airport, Logan International Airport in East Boston, Massachusetts, Raleigh-Durham International Airport in Durham, North Carolina, San Jose International Airport in San Jose, California, and San Diego International Airport in San Diego, California. From Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in San Juan, American Eagle operates a large number of American's Caribbean flights.

It flies to destinations in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Its subsidiary Executive Air flies to destinations in the United States, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. Their fleet is composed of the Canadair Regional Jet, the Embraer ERJ-135, the Embraer ERJ-140, the Embraer ERJ-145, and the Saab SF 340. Executive Air uses the Aerospiatle Super ATR and the Aerospiatle ATR.

American Eagle once had other airlines as affiliates, such as Avair, Simmons Airlines, and Flagship Airlines.

American Eagle's flights from Los Angeles International Airport are codeshared by Continental Airlines, and are under the Delta Connection name for Delta Air Lines.
